Swansea MAD was pleased to attend the inaugural Warm Welcome Awards, which celebrated the people, projects and community spaces making a real difference across the UK.

The event brought together Warm Welcome Spaces, community groups, volunteers and organisations who are helping to bring people together and support people in their communities.

We were especially proud of Dave Berry, who was recognised as a finalist in the Unsung Hero category. This award celebrates people who make a difference behind the scenes through kindness, care and commitment.

Dave’s recognition is a wonderful reminder of the important role that community work plays in supporting people, building connections and creating welcoming spaces where people feel valued.

The Warm Welcome Awards were a chance to hear inspiring stories from across the country and celebrate the many people who give their time, energy and compassion to others.

A big thank you to all of the staff from Warm Welcome and Sky for hosting the event and creating such a special celebration of these inspiring stories.

Congratulations to Dave, all of the finalists and award winners.
